Privacy & enquiry data
Last reviewed: 24 October 2026. This describes the current pre-launch, email-first enquiry workflow; it must be reviewed again before public launch or any new payment/data processing.
What we receive and why
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, the subject, project description, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this to assess a requested quote, respond to you, agree scope and (only if an order is accepted) deliver the agreed service. The likely legal bases are steps requested before entering a contract and performance of a contract; routine business administration may rely on legitimate interests, subject to assessment. We do not require a phone number or identity documents to request a quote.
Please do not send sensitive records
For a first enquiry, provide only a short task description and fictional or properly redacted sample rows. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, health information, or confidential customer records. Before any real files are accepted, we agree an appropriate transfer method and data-handling scope.
Where information is handled
Business email uses Google's Gmail service. Work documents may be stored in Google Drive; technical project files may be handled on an authorised VPS if required by an agreed project. These providers may process or store data outside the UK under their applicable terms and safeguards. We do not claim that an unpublished site already has a live checkout. If a payment provider is enabled later, its processing and any additional sharing will be described before collecting payment information.
AI assistance
We use AI-assisted preparation and software testing for some work. We do not ask clients to send private records to an AI model during the initial enquiry. Any use of client personal or confidential data with third-party AI services requires an agreed, documented data-handling arrangement first. Synthetic portfolio examples are not client records.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept while the enquiry is being handled and for follow-up where needed. Unaccepted enquiries should be reviewed after 90 days for deletion unless a current discussion, dispute, or legal requirement justifies keeping them. If work is commissioned, project and transaction records may need to be kept longer for contract, accounting, or tax obligations. A documented retention procedure must be confirmed before accepting live customer datasets.
Website technology
This current static-site build does not include an analytics tracker, advertising pixels, a signup form or a payment form. Hosting and email providers may keep technical service logs. We will update this information if cookies, analytics or other services are added.
Your rights and complaints
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or to object to relevant processing; which rights apply depends on the legal basis and circumstances. You may complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are dissatisfied. Please email the address above so we can assess your request.
