Leaving Stocky? Check your exported inventory data before relying on it.
Shopify retired Stocky on 31 August 2026. If you already have two compatible CSV exports, Nilo Works can flag missing product keys, changed quantities or prices, and duplicates without changing the originals.
Ask for a £29 scope checkNo obligation. Do not attach real inventory exports or personal information to the first email; describe the files and use redacted examples.

Why review your exports?
Shopify says Stocky historical purchase orders and stocktakes do not automatically move into Shopify, and that Stocky data remains available for read-only export for at least 90 days after 31 August 2026. Shopify does not promise an exact final export date in that guidance. Suppliers cannot be exported from Stocky.
Read Shopify's official migration and export instructions first. Export and retain the reports you need through your own authorised account. We do not access Stocky, Shopify admin, or store credentials.
Small CSV discrepancy check
Bounded example scope: two ordinary CSV files, up to 500 data rows combined, one agreed unique key such as SKU, and up to three agreed comparison fields. The actual column mapping, price, deadline and feasibility are confirmed in writing before an order is accepted.
- Report keys present in one file but missing from the other
- Flag changed values for agreed columns (such as quantity or price)
- Flag duplicate, blank or ambiguous keys rather than guessing
- Return separate exception CSVs and a counts-only audit summary, with original files unchanged
This is a file-level quality check, not a full Stocky migration, bookkeeping audit, inventory forecasting service, or verification that all historical records were exported. Different export schemas may need manual mapping and a revised quote.

We ran our tested comparison on two fictional inventory CSVs (7 rows in export A and 6 in export B). The output contains 9 exception rows: 2 changed fields, 3 missing-key findings and 4 key-quality findings. These are findings, not necessarily nine different products.
| Finding | SKU | Field | Export A | Export B |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Changed value | SKU-ALPHA | Quantity | 20 | 18 |
| Changed value | SKU-BETA | UnitPrice | 8.50 | 9.00 |
| Only in A | SKU-GAMMA | SKU | Present | Missing |
| Only in B | SKU-DELTA | SKU | Missing | Present |
| Duplicate key | SKU-DUP | SKU | Repeated | Flagged as ambiguous |
The remaining findings include another missing key, a blank key, a second duplicate-key exception row and an ambiguous match. Values are compared literally; no automatic stock correction, fuzzy matching or numeric inference is performed.
Download all 9 fictional findings and source CSVs (ZIP)
The ZIP includes unchanged fictional inputs, separate changed-field, missing-key and key-issue CSVs, and a counts-only audit. This is not a native Stocky export, real customer work or evidence of a completed migration. Real schemas require a written feasibility check.
Before ordering: free export checklist
- Follow Shopify's official guidance to export and retain relevant historical purchase orders, stocktakes and cost data while your authorised read-only access remains available.
- Keep original export files unchanged in your own secure backup. Record their filenames, export dates and report types.
- Check that each CSV opens correctly, contains expected headers and has a plausible row count. Save a second copy before editing.
- For a comparison, identify a reliable matching key and the two or three fields you want checked. If there is no unique key, flag that up front.
- Send Nilo Works only the approximate row counts, column names and a fictional or properly redacted five-row sample to discuss scope.
Do not send passwords, store admin access, payment details, customer records or confidential supplier prices during initial enquiry. We disclose AI-assisted preparation and validate results against agreed rules and sample cases.
Common questions
Can you import my historical Stocky purchase orders into Shopify? No. Shopify says historical purchase orders cannot be imported as historical records. Our service checks supplied CSV data only.
Can you guarantee that my export is complete? No. We can report file-level counts and discrepancies, not independently prove that Stocky contains no additional records.
Do you need access to my Shopify account? No. We work from agreed, owner-supplied files only, after reviewing data-handling suitability and scope.
Can I check the CSVs for free first? Yes. Our free, browser-based CSV key checker can help you spot keys that appear in one file but not the other. It does not compare agreed quantity or price fields. The scoped paid check adds changed-field findings, separate exception CSV reports and a counts-only audit. You do not need the paid service if a simple key check already answers your question.
Can I pay now? Not through this page. Payment instructions are provided only after a written scope and an authorised live payment channel are confirmed.
